Howdy. This project started after listening to a group of students talk about how hard it was to find the information they were looking for on college and university websites. Specifically, they were interested in admission requirements and how to apply. Sure, that's all out there online. But each university is a little bit different.
As it turns out the US government keeps track of these things and has all of the data available through Data.gov, so with a little bit of data parsing and some coding ApplyCollege was born.
